Okay, let’s move on.
Step 1: Scrub the Racks
The very first thing to do is to switch off the pellet grill. Now. scrub the racks as much as possible in order to clean them. When the racks are hot, it’s easier to clean them. So, I suggest doing it after you use the pellet grill.
Step 2: Remove the Grates
The next thing to do is to remove all the grates from the Pit Boss pellet grill. Safety is first, so, wear disposable gloves before removing them.
Step 3: Scrape the Broiler Plate
In this step take a putty knife and scrape all the accumulated residue and liquids from the surface of the broiler plate.
Step 4: Clean the Firepot and inside of the Bottom Half of the Grill
This time take off the deflector plate and reveal the fire pot. Get a paintbrush and remove all the ashes from the auger cover. Again take the putty knife and scrape the interior of the lower section of the grill. Make sure to form a pile of debris.
Step 5: Suck out All the Ashes
This is the last active step. The grill is almost cleaned but all you need to do is to remove the debris. The best option here is to use a shop vac and extract all the ashes from both the burn pot as well as the pile you created.
Step 6: Set up the Grill
Congratulations, you’re done. It’s to set the components in their respective spots.
